1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Rate My Professor (the "Platform"), operated by Edvision, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must have a genuine connection to the institution you review (for example, as a current or former student) and provide accurate account information.

3. Review policy & community guidelines

Reviews must describe a genuine academic experience. The following are not allowed:

• Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or comments about appearance, personal life, or protected characteristics.
• Defamatory, false, or unverifiable factual claims.
• Reviews of a professor you have never taken a class with.
• Spam, advertising, duplicate, or incentivized reviews.

Focus on teaching: clarity, fairness of grading, workload, helpfulness, and whether you would take the professor again.

4. Takedown & correction procedure

Professors and students may contest content they believe violates these terms by emailing support@edvision.io with a link to the review and the reason for the request. We will acknowledge reports, review them against this policy, and remove or correct content that violates it. We may remove any content at our discretion.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of what you post but grant Edvision a licence to display it on the Platform. You are responsible for the content you submit.

6. Disclaimer

Reviews reflect the opinions of individual students, not Edvision. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any review.
